Place Strategy

Starting with strategy is a tactical way to work efficiently towards the end goal.

We create place strategies that are customised to respond to a particular place and it’s context. We go deep to understand the issues at hand and the inherent challenges and opportunities of each project. We understand the importance of strategic work to fully understand the issues before seeking the solution.

THRIVE Ecological Land Management Strategy

Our THRIVE Strategy work is anchored to our ethos of PEOPLE + PLACE + NATURE + CULTURE and is a response to our local context, the semi- rural land of the Mornington Peninsula.

We work collaboratively to define a land management ethos, vision, goals and guiding statements around sustainability + productivity + lifestyle. This forms the framework for identifying tangible actions and systems to achieve good outcomes consistently and efficiently. This strategic approach allows land owners to achieve multiple co-benefits around time, finances, resources and impact, all while balancing their own needs and improving ecological health and productivity.

THRIVE Strategy provides tangible direction that is cognisant of the many benefits of taking a sustainable, and when possible, a regenerative approach to land management. We focus on helping people achieve their rural idyll in a way that is good for people and place while realising the potential of the land from an ecological and food production perspective. We understand the appeal life connected to nature and country and are keenly aware of the issues associated with achieving this. Managing land takes time, knowledge and hard work.

We offer a range of other strategies associated with place and land management. We can create flexible modules to accomodate specific needs. We bring our collaborative approach to strategy work and collaborate with a range of stakeholders to achieve shared goals and mutually beneficial outcomes.
